The Lakes, Rivers and Coastal Waters of the Isle of Monkey.

   A special fishing licence must be obtained from the Islands Tourist Agent Mr P.R.I. Mate at his office from Monday to Friday.  All catches must be returned to the rivers and lakes or coastal waters, please do not throw in unwanted hotel food or drink as it poison the fish.

  The Island shop offer a great number of life-jacket and survival kits for young and old alike, also suntan creams and skin disease lotions.

  Do not handle any fish that you do not recognise as one or two South American species has been maliciously introduced over the years and can strip the flesh from your arm in minutes. It is wise to avoid any very large jelly fish that get accidentally blown in with the tides. The Island authorities with not take any responsibility death or maiming.
